Through fishing around different areas, at different tides and a wide variety of hours throughout the day or night, 4-7 hours is the perfect time frame to get out, catch bait and locate the fish while still being flexible with moving about the area, especially on those tight lipped days.
The longer the trip, the better the chances! We will start the day off by cruising out of the Yachtsman Marina and make our way out of the river and into the Atlantic. Once out on the water, we will start motoring around to a few areas to locate bait fish. The common bait fish is Mackerel, Rock Pollock and Menhaden. After succeeding with bait fishing, it’s on to the striper grounds. We will fish anywhere from Wells to Biddeford Pool.
